But any and all help for how to setup syslinux to still be able to boot into Windows would be great. If not, I feel confident in my ability to look that up.

I believe I know enough to install syslinux to my mbr and enough to remove GRUB from it. I understand that syslinux can call BOOTMGR, but I'm not exactly sure how to set this up, and I don't know if that will work as most of what I read says that syslinux doesn't have support for NTFS. Thus, I need my bootloader to be able to chainload into Windows. It has been a long time since I've booted into Windows as it has been heavily corrupted, but I am a gamer at heart, and I will be reinstalling it shortly. First of all, I am dual-booting Fc16 and Windows 7. However, I am a little confused on some of the details. I am somewhat familiar with syslinux, and it looks to be my best replacement option.
And as a result, I've been in the market for a very light-weight but functional bootloader. Those found in RAM need to be accessed with the help of the boot loader such as BIOS, EFI, SLOF, OpenBoot, OpenBIOS, BOOTMGR, Syslinux, NTLDR, GRUB, and LILO. As of late, GRUB2 has begun to annoy me more than legacy-GRUB used to.
